- Coating -Polyglycolic acid is a homopolymer of glycolic acid, which is braided into sutures of various sizes. The braid is coated with a mixture of Calcium Stearate and Poly-D-Lactic acid and N-e-lauroyl-L-lysine.
- UNICRYL sutures are guaranteed to meet the requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia (B.P.), the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.), and the United States Pharmacopoeia (U.S.P.).
